Andy Rivers
Rivers is an executive security advisor with AWS Public Sector, where he specializes in supporting state, local government and higher education customers. Prior to joining AWS, Rivers served as the deputy chief information security officer and chief cloud architect for the state of Tennessee, leading the state's cloud adoption and application migration initiatives. He has extensive experience in IT service management and cybersecurity, including leading Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) best practices implementations. At AWS, Rivers works with security and technology leaders to enable secure, compliant cloud transformations, helping customers develop holistic security strategies and leverage the cloud in solving their toughest security challenges.
