SDSU hosts ninth annual Swine Day
Ӱ held its ninth annual Swine Day at Club 71 in Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium on Nov. 4. Organized by university swine research and extension personnel, the daylong event offered attendees a full day of learning and connection.

ME’s Flaskey named Employee of Month
Adeline Flaskey, financial program assistant for the Department of Mechanical Engineering, was SDSU’s Civil Service Employee of the Month for October. She has worked at SDSU since May 2018 and has shown exemplary performance, warm interpersonal skills and positive leadership, her nominators reported. They described her as a diligent worker with high attention to detail.

SDSU students celebrated in Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine Blue Coat Ceremony
Twenty Ӱ Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine students were honored at the annual Blue Coat Ceremony on Oct. 4. The first-year students were each presented with a personalized blue Carhartt work coat sponsored by a regional veterinarian to welcome them into the veterinary profession, and to South Dakota.

Ӱ’s Concert Choir will present its fall concert program, “Pathways of Light: Journeys of Faith, Spirit and Song,” during a regional tour Oct. 26-29, followed by a home performance on at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in the Larson Memorial Concert Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.
