About

The Bison Health Network is a collaborative effort connecting producers, veterinarians and researchers to strengthen bison herd health across North America. Through partnerships with the National Bison Association, the Bison Center of Excellence and other key organizations, the Bison Health Network aims to create a space where producers can share experiences and access science-based insights.

Yearly Plan
Year One
2025/26

Recruiting participants to the Bison Health Network.

Year Two
2026/27

Begin funding participants (20 stipends available) to attend meetings and provide opportunities to connect and discuss health challenges within the network.

Year Three+
2027+

Continued engagement within the network, including funding to attend meetings and opportunities to participate in short courses tailored to bison health.
