The SDSU Hobo Day Committee registered student organization is specifically authorized to use “SDSU^TM” and “Hobo Day®” in its marks and name as previously authorized by SDState and is grandfathered into the RSO logo and naming guidelines. The Hobo Day Committee must follow applicable communications standards and policies when speaking on behalf of SDState or independently obtain prior written approval from the university president, via the process managed by University Marketing and Communications, when cobranding with SDState logos and wordmarks. The Hobo Day Committee is authorized to use the SDState’s trademarked Weary Wil and Dirty Lil logos for use in its advertising, social media, apparel and merchandise, subject to all South Dakota Board of Regents and SDState policies.
