About Instructional Design Services

Through the promotion of contemporary, cutting-edge technologies, Instructional Design Services provides students, faculty and staff universal access and guidance to worldwide electronic resources. Development and access to institutionally-developed instructional and informational resources help poise the university to be eLearning leader in education.

Instructional Design Services helps faculty, staff and graduate teaching assistants:

  • Design, develop, evaluate and teach effective face-to-face, hybrid and online courses.
  • Apply current research and best practices on eLearning and innovative teaching technologies that support the goals of the university.
  • Gain the knowledge and training needed for university eLearning applications.

Our staff is available in the office from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. CST, Monday-Friday. We are here to answer all your questions related to online/hybrid teaching, D2L, Zoom, Echo360 clicker, interactive learning media and other university eLearning applications.

The goal of Instructional Design Services is to support the instructional, research, institutional and service missions of the university. Instructional Design Services is the one-stop shop for technology applications in face-to-face, hybrid and online teaching and research at SDSU. Instructional Design Services provides students, faculty and staff universal access and guidance to worldwide electronic resources for teaching, learning and research.

We help faculty, staff and graduate teaching assistants:
