Volstorff-Walder Fraternal Excellence Awards
The Volstorff-Walder Fraternal Excellence Awards were initiated by the Greek Advisors Council in 1978 as a means of recognizing outstanding accomplishments by the individuals and chapters involved in the SDSU Greek Life System.
The Volstorff-Walder Award for the Outstanding Greek Chapter at SDSU is named in honor of professor Orlin Walder, a former Dean of Men at SDSU and Vivian V. Volstroff, former dean of Women at SDSU. These two individuals not only assisted with the founding of the Greek System but guided it through its early years and into the early 1970’s. The Greek ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ owes these two individuals a great deal of thanks.
